When I started working on Couchly, I was both excited and nervous. I had a clear goal — to build a professional furniture store website for my client that looked modern, clean and easy to use. The site features nice furniture collections like living room sets, mattresses, chairs and more. It also has categories like Bedroom Furniture, Dining Room Furniture, Office Furniture and Outdoor Furniture.
I used WordPress + Elementor + WooCommerce to design Couchly so my client could easily manage products and customers. The layout is smooth, with highlights, best seller sections, and a shop page listing items like a bookshelf, lounge chairs and sofas. Visitors can see prices, explore furniture categories, and enjoy a good shopping experience.
Working on Couchly took me careful planning — choosing the right design blocks, placing menus, adding product lists, and making sure everything looked good on phone and computer. I also added newsletter sign-up, testimonials, and trust badges such as Free Shipping and Money Guarantee to build credibility.
My client was very happy with how the website turned out. They said it felt professional and modern, and helped their business present products beautifully online. Because of this project, I earned ₹26,800, which was one of my biggest earnings from a website build so far. I felt proud that my design skills and hard work directly helped my client grow their business and also supported me to improve my confidence as a web designer.
Overall, Couchly became more than just a website — it became a shared success project between me and my client. I learned new things, solved challenges, and delivered a site that looks great and works well. And that journey was worth every rupee. 🙌
